Women's Health in Focus: Medical Conference Dedicated to Menopause

On May 23, the American Medical Center (AMC) organized a major medical event dedicated to women's health: "Menopause: Trends, Anti-Trends, and the Foundations of Therapy." Hosted at the Art Hotel in Chișinău, the conference focused on the latest updates and modern approaches in the management of menopause.

The event brought together medical specialists and healthcare professionals interested in the latest perspectives on women's health, prevention, and recommended treatments during menopause. The lineup of top speakers included:

  • Dr. Nataliia Leliukh – special guest, one of Ukraine's most renowned gynecologists, highly regarded for her professional activity, vast experience, and contribution to international medical education;

  • Veronica Lebedinski – neuropsychiatrist, senior physician;

  • Adrian Chiriac – pediatric endocrinologist and endocrinologist, second-degree physician;

  • Ludmila Velenciuc – obstetrician-ginecologist, gynecologist-endocrinologist, gynecological surgeon, and colposcopist, senior physician;

  • Lia Chișlari – rheumatologist, PhD in Medical Sciences, associate professor, senior physician;

  • Marina Știrbu – dermato-cosmetologist, specialist in injectable aesthetic treatments.

The keynote presentation delivered by the special guest, Dr. Nataliia Leliukh, provided participants with valuable insights, practical recommendations, and a modern perspective on the core therapy for menopause.

The discussion panels covered current trends in hormone therapy, myths and anti-trends emerging in medical practice, as well as the crucial importance of a personalized approach for each individual patient.
